My ongoing education in art takes place thru my own passion and pleasure in the exploration of creative processes. Always excited by fiberarts and having been raised by a seamstress, I started working in batik on silk fabric over thirty years ago. Batik has become my voice. love it. almost an abstract with it's boldness and simplicity. it conveys a huge land, but it's serene and even warming in spite of the dark tones. particularly alluring is the line between golden light and darkness where hints of trees and sundry mysteries reside. deft, skillful painting. well done.
